Cole and I got to go to Cancun for a week. We met Kim and Aaron and had a great time. We drove into see the ruins at Chichen -Itza, it was quite hot that day and we were not close to the beach. On the way home we took a different route and it took us an extra hour to get back, but as we were driving through one of the many small towns we saw the missionaries on the side of the road going to do their laundry, that was a nice treat along with the hundreds of dogs who looked like they were going to die at any minute. (One was dead and we kept seeing it on the side of the road day after day it had rigamortus and was totally stiff with its legs up)
Cole was doing a great impression of David Hasselhof. The beaches were beautiful and very fun to swim in.
Yes, leave it to a Krummenacher to make sure we find a Costco. We actually went to Costco twice in the week we were there. Cole said the best hot dog he has ever had at Costco anywhere. They also have pina coladas in the food court, yum. What a fun trip. We have great memories of driving in the pointer, which was smaller than a ford excort and made it really hard to get us all in with our stuff.
